Leeds’ Room is a unique and modern restaurant and bar styled in contemporary design serving unpretentious, good quality food delivered to your table without attitude by a friendly and knowledgeable team of ‘table hosts’.
Menus are influenced by retro dishes which one might have found in a British pub or restaurant during the 1970’s. Room is delighted to announce the appointment of Greg Lewis as the new Head Chef, formerly at Pool Court Leeds. Greg has over eight years experience working in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
His big break came when he was offered a position within the kitchen team at Pool Court under the guidance of Michelin starred Chef Jeff Baker. Greg is considered one of the best young chefs in the region offering a modern twist on classics such as Surf & Turf, Chicken Kiev and Fruit Charlotte; not forgetting vegetarians, Room’s diverse menu offers inspirational choices to whet even the most jaded of palettes.
The bars are open to none diners and offer a cocktail list bursting with creativity and passion. There’s also a diverse and good value wine list with over 15 wines by the glass - all served within a friendly environment, you needn’t go anywhere else.
In the summer DJ’s play in Room’s magical courtyard and provide customers with one of the few opportunities in the city to dine al fresco.
