Fancy enjoying a meal from an ever-changing, innovative menu put together by the world’s future top chefs?
Farthings at Leeds Thomas Danby is the college’s on-site training restaurant which is run by professional staff along with catering and hospitality students who, during their time at college, gain first hand experience of working within the industry.
The College, which is a Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) for hospitality and catering, has always incorporated a training restaurant within its on-site facilities.
The restaurant is housed in the main college building and consists of a lower level bar and lounge area, an upper bar and dining area and a large function room, all enjoying contemporary style and modern fittings for a stylish dining experience.
Farthings has a relaxed and informal atmosphere attracting everyone from couples to families and groups of friends, as well as the occasional celebrity chef with Gordon Ramsay and James Martin among its visitors.
Farthings holds a number of themed dining evenings throughout the year – please contact the restaurant for details of forthcoming events.
